Every year around this time, fantasy hockey poolies from all over the world get excited to do the one thing that they love to do every September: get prepared for their upcoming fantasy hockey drafts. This goes hand in hand with what FHW has to offer for avid poolies looking forward to the upcoming season, and wanting some assistance in making their picks.
The FHW guide is the only source you need to put together a winning roster to take out your competition. With coverage of over 400 NHL players, you will have an understanding after reading this guide of what players to draft, which players not to draft, what players are in line for a career year, and which players will be a disappointment fantasy-wise.
Unlike other magazines on newsstands, this guide cuts right to the chase and gives you what you need for your draft: stats. There are no pages wasted on random pictures, advertising, and pointless articles. It will only provide the nitty-gritty information that you need to make the right decision. It also has information that is up to date in terms of player movement, and won't have irrelevant data on players that have switched teams, unlike some magazines that are published way too early. With over 150 pages of pure data, there is enough stuff in here to turn a casual fan into a fantasy hockey geek.
In terms of players that haven't committed to a team yet (i.e. Chris Drury, JP Dumont, Bryan McCabe, Teemu Selanne, etc.) or are still unsigned restricted free agents (Drew Doughty, Zach Bogosian, Kyle Turris, etc.), a Player Supplemental sheet will be sent out on September 14th to everyone that has purchased the FHW guide with Supplemental sheet option.

Guides will be available as of August 21st, 2011. The Standard Guide will be as of August 21st, and no updates will be provided. The Upgraded Guide will be updated all the way to the start of the season. You can still pre-order your copy before August 21st. However, you will not receive your copy before then.
